It was a good day, a nice day, I loved today
I had Thai tea with boba, studied and made notecards with my Staedtler pens (I should save them for my drawings but I love the way they write and using them makes my study sessions that much nicer) – I also got to listen to San Francisco stories and visit my favorite tea house (which will be about five minutes from the apartment come August 1st!). I visited the bookstore and found that I had a 30% off coupon, which the staff allowed me to use via pulling up the site on my phone (I love awesome employees),so I now own The Crafter’s Devotional – which is AWESOME. I cannot even begin to tell you how many different ideas are crammed in there, and they’re not hokey like most of the books in the craft section [cringe].
I spent the remainder of the night with another dear friend whom I hadn’t seen in forever (he was in NY). We wandered the mall and then tried to choose the most awful-sounding movie at the theater, which we wound up liking (ack). I’m now home, and have this great happy, full, feeling – the little high you get from spending time with people who make your soul dance.
I have to remember who they are, and make more time for them.
